Denise B. McCracken is the founder and owner of the cannabis law firm, D.B. McCracken Law in St. Louis, Missouri. Ms. McCracken represents licensees and third-party service providers in a variety of cannabis-related matters. Ms. McCracken brings two decades of litigation and transactional legal experience in matters governed by local, state, and federal law on behalf of public bodies, private individuals, and businesses. She appeared in federal, state, and administrative proceedings.

After graduating from Notre Dame Law School and successfully practicing in New York and Chicago, Denise found her way back home. She opened a law office in St. Louis where her parents, amazing nephew, and three fabulous nieces also live. Since 2016, Ms. McCracken has been immersed in the cannabis industry and the extensive regulatory and compliance work that operators must navigate. In 2018, Ms. McCracken created a website to help Missouri voters better understand the three medical marijuana ballot initiatives using neutral, fact-based infographics and easy-to-read comparison charts. From its launch in late August 2018 to election day, there were over 10,000 visitors. Denise was voted Missouri's best marijuana industry lawyer by Greenway Magazine in 2022 and 2023. She authored "Missouri Cannabis Laws and Regulations 2020: Legalization Edition" and "Missouri Cannabis Laws and Regulations 2023: Adult-Use Emergency Rules Edition".

Denise also devoted six years to non-profit service with responsibilities in program evaluation, strategic development, grant writing, and reporting. Her experience, versatility, tenacity, and integrity make Denise McCracken an asset to her clients and the evolving cannabis industry.
